Yes, you can extend your tourist visa when you are in Uzbekistan. Extension of stay is up to 7 days. By extending your visa you will be issued an EXIT VISA sticker into your passport.

Ένας τόπος με μακρά ιστορία, ήκμασε ως στρατηγικό τμήμα του δρόμου του μεταξιού, κατακτήθηκε από τις αυτοκρατορίες του Μεγάλου Αλεξάνδρου, των Αράβων, του Gengis Khan και ανέδειξε την αίγλη του υπό την ισχύ του κατακτητή Amir Timur, γνωστού και ως Ταμερλάνου. Μετά την ανεξαρτησία της από τη Σοβιετική Ένωση και την επαναπόκτηση της εθνικής της ταυτότητας, η χώρα ζει σε ένα καθεστώς σχετικής απομόνωσης από τα φώτα της δύσης αλλά με ένα ικανοποιητικό μέσο επίπεδο διαβίωσης.
