Day 1: Bukhara - Gijduvan - Nurata - Zulkanain Village - Nurata

09:00 Drive to Gijduvan (45 km). Visit the ceramics workshop in Gijduvan. Drive to Nurata (125 km).
13:00 Arrive in Nurata. After lunch visit the Complex Chashma Spring and Namazgah Mosque. Go up to the hills to visit the remains of the Fortress of Alexander the Great. Visit the Kariz - the construction of Kariz is a unique underground water pipeline system near Nurata which is also connected with the name of the Alexander the Great.

Hiking to Zulkarnain village. On one side of the village a marble-walled room has 2 tombs in it, no less than 10 meters in length. According to a legend, the graves belonged to the soldier’s of the Alexander the Great. Hiking back to Nurata and overnight at the Guest House.

Day 2: Nurata - Dara Valley - Nurata - Yurt Camp
Breakfast at the guest house.
08:00 Take your hiking tour to the Dara Valley in the Nuratau Mountain range (water and food can be bought at a local market while leaving Nurata). The are many unique natural rock formations to see on the walk, as well as some local village culture (agriculture, shepherding, traditional houses and daily life).
After finishing your hiking tour drive to the Yurt Camp. Overnight in the Yurt Camp.
16:00 Drive to the Yurt Camp (60 km). Overnight in the Yurt Camp.

Day 3: Yurt Camp - Lake Aydar - Samarkand
Breakfast in the Yurt Camp.
09:00 Drive to Lake Aydar (30 km). Enjoy swimming and walking along the lakeshore.
Drive to Samarkand (230 km). Arrive in Samarkand. End of the tour.
