To get a letter of invitation to Turkmenistan (LOI), please do the following:

• Fill out Turkmenistan Visa Support / Letter of Invitation (LOI) Form;
• Email us a good quality scan of your passport;
• Email us a scan of an employment letter (retired and housewives do not need to provide a letter);
• Book any tour package;
• Flight tickets itinerary or flight reservation form (required only if visa is to be obtained upon arrival).

An Invitation letter to Turkmenistan is free of charge if you book a tour package with tour operator GLOBAL CONNECT.

To enter Turkmenistan all travelers are required to have a tourist or transit visa. The tourist visas are delivered on the basis of an issued visa support letter, also referred to as a Letter of Invitation. The Letter of Invitation (LOI) requires usually up to 3-4 weeks to process.

With an approved Invitation Letter you can apply for your visa at a Turkmen embassy or consulate abroad. It is also possible to obtain the visa directly at the Turkmen land border at:

• Gaudan (Bajgiran/Mashad);
• Farab (Alat/Bukhara);
• Dashoguz (Shavat/Khiva);
• Kunya-Urgench (Khojeyli/Nukus);

or at the sea port in Turkmenbashi or at the international airport in Ashgabat upon arrival.

Please note that the last decision about result of the letter of invitation depends on the Turkmenistan Migration Department.
