The architectural complex "Khast Imam", located on Zaykarnar street in the old part of Tashkent, is truly unique in all respects. The architectural elements of this complex were built at different periods in the history of our city.

The new Muftiate building of the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan was built by craftsmen in 2007. The Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers is also located in the same building.

It is a government body authorized to solve problems in the field of ensuring the rights of everyone to freedom of conscience and religion, equality of citizens, regardless of their attitude to religion, as well as regulation of relations related with the activities of religious organizations.
